AS&E Alumni Giving Report: Looking back at 2009-2010
As we enter the final year of Beyond Boundaries: The Campaign for Tufts, alumni, parents, and friends have given more than $1.1 billion toward its $1.2 billion goal. What is even more impressive than this gift total is the number of individuals who support the university. In just this past fiscal year, more than 16,000 people have donated to the Tufts Fund for Arts, Sciences & Engineering. This includes an increase in the number of alumni donors and first-time donors over the prior year.
With more than 500 supporters, the Everyone Counts Challenge increased participation among reunion classes. The Classes of 1955, 1965, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, and 2005 met the goal of securing 50 new donors from their class during the month leading up to Alumni Weekend. This fall, scholarships will be awarded to seven Tufts students and named in honor of these classes.
The reports below highlight giving to Tufts from July 1, 2009 to June 30, 2010 and include all gifts made to the university by alumni of the School of Arts & Sciences and the School of Engineering. Each gift counts toward Beyond Boundaries: The Campaign for Tufts, including gifts to the annual fund.
