Sponsored by the Tufts Institute of the Environment, the Water: Systems, Science, and Society certificate program provides guidance in course, research and internship selection for those seeking a deeper professional understanding of the multiple dimensions of water security. Students who graduate with a WSSS Certificate will possess a deep understanding of the core issues and challenges that underlie the management of water and be capable of undertaking interdisciplinary research, policy-making decisions, and fieldwork.
For a first-hand account of one student's WSSS experience, you can read "From the Student's Perspective: Redefining Water Resource Education at Tufts" (click to download PDF), by WSSS alumna Janice Snow, Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning.
For outside-of-Tufts students wanting to enroll in the Online track of the WSSS Program, please see the O-track page for instructions on application.
