2003--Consultant (with Langley Keyes) to the Citizens’ Housing and Planning Association to carry out a study of Housing Policy in Massachusetts, 1965-2003. (Boston).

2003--Consultant to the Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation to complete profiles of Multifamily Housing in Shaker Heights, Ohio and Austin, Texas. Used for the NeighborWorks Multifamily Initiative Symposium, “The Vitality of America’s Working Neighborhoods: The Local Challenges to Multifamily Housing” (Chicago).

1994-1996--Preparation of written testimony and expert witness on exclusionary zoning case in Edgartown, MA. Mintz Levin Cohn Ferris Glovksy and Popeo, P.C., attorneys. Assisted in the preparation of amicus brief, on appeal.

1992-1993--Enterprise Foundation. Consultant on Neighborhood Transformation Project, (Baltimore, MD).

1968-81--Abt Associates, Inc., Cambridge, MA. Consultant on a variety of HUD-sponsored research projects. In addition, under contract to the City of Boston, participated in a study that investigated fair housing practices in Boston.

1974-75--City Manager's Office of Planning and Community Development, Worcester, MA. Community Development Coordinator. Coordinated Worcester's $6 million/year Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG).

1970-71--Boston Model Cities Administration, Boston, MA. Directed a study of home buyers in the Boston Banks Urban Renewal Group (BBURG) program.

1970--Justin Gray Associates, Cambridge, MA. Participated in a study of the needs, problems, and potentials of housing in the Boston Model Cities area. Contributed to Report: "Housing Needs and Priorities for the Boston Model Cities Area," 1970.

1967-68--Laboratory of Community Psychiatry, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA. Participated in a study of the post-hospital adjustment and outpatient care of a group of psychiatric patients discharged from Boston State Hospital.
